Which online courses can I pursue with the CA exams postponed to Nov'20?

CA exams July 2020 have been postponed (or cancelled) to November 2020. As a result, many students have got so much free time all of a sudden. that they are thinking of doing some quick online certification courses. Read on to find out more about them...

I have got many messages of students, mostly CA Finalists, looking for some quick online courses just because the exams have got shifted to November. It is nice to know that you are thinking of doing some online courses and making excellent use of the extra time you have on hand. But there is a major caveat.

I do not want to discourage you, but this CA Final. Think of diverging away from the syllabus only when you are absolutely well prepared and confident of clearing the exams in one shot. This is a very important condition, and I want you to think twice before going ahead with online courses NOW.

Coming on to the online courses, there a plethora of FREE online courses available on Coursera. You can also avail of the 1-month free trial of LinkedIn Premium. There are a lot of courses in the following areas which you can pursue from Coursera, LinkedIn, and Udemy.

  1. Excel

  2. Accounting

  3. Corporate Finance

  4. Budgeting

  5. Financial Statement Analysis

  6. Financial Modelling

  7. Python for Finance

  8. Powerpoint

  9. Communication skills

  10. Negotiation skills

  11. Statistics for Finance

  12. Data Analytics for Finance… and the list goes on.

Once again, just to ensure that you are self-conscious of time when you get into the world of online courses - -> your main aim now should be to be in the perfect shape both mentally and physically to ace your CA Final exams. So please bear that in mind while doing online courses. In no circumstance should you allow all your efforts of the last so many months go down the drain, only to find yourself lacking just a few weeks before the exams.
