The CA Final exams have been shifted from July 2020 to November 2020. And the mental toughness CA Final exams demand from every student to be able to clear it in the first attempt is very well known. Even then, every term witnesses close to 85% students sitting for the exams once again after 6 months. This post is not for just those 85% people, but also for those who are going to appear for the first time. Read on...
CA Final is tough, no doubt. But it is not something impossible. Do you remember the positivity and the dream you had in mind when you had just enrolled for the course before CPT or Foundation? This is just the time to relieve that dream again.
Once you have reached the stage of CA Final, you should sense your dream to be just a few steps away. Remember that Rajnikanth was still a bus conductor at the age of 25, you are in a much much better position. All you need to do is to JUST GO FOR IT !
Many students succumb to the pressure of the CA Final exams. Now with some added time to all the erstwhile May 2020 CA aspirants, there is a sense of leaving studies on the back burner for at least a month and look at other avenues of recreation. I do not subscribe to this ideology, and I would caution you against doing this.
The main objective of writing this post is to ensure that all the students prioritize their CA Final studies more than any other activity. You should feel passionate about your dream and not let any other distraction come in the way of realizing that dream. I have seen people leave the course midway, or even break down before the exams. All this happens because you are not thinking positively, and the mind is too cluttered with all those negative thoughts.
Tell me one thing - what is that one thing that stops you from being positive? Fear of failure? It is simple to get rid of this. This fear grips you when you know for yourself that your preparation is lacking. You are not confident about your performance in exams. All you need to do is to prepare well. If you fail, you will to read all of it again, leading to more boredom and frustration. What is the use of it all? The best way is to push hard and prepare well. There is sufficient time now for the November exams. Don't waste a single minute and get down to study as if there is no tomorrow.
To keep yourself motivated and positive, there are so many things you can do. Let me enlist a few things here:
Get active - walk around for 5-10 minutes or do some aerobics
Go out - go for a short walk outside for a quick refresher
Listen to music - plug-in those earphones to some soothing music you like
Meditation - Yoga and meditation are the best ways to beat stress. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath, count till 5 and exhale slowly. Repeat this 5 times. This should be good to go.
Watch some comedy videos or read some jokes and laugh out loud
Stay hydrated and eat well to re-energize your body
Don't try to be someone you are not
Face your fears - step out of your comfort zone and face the challenges. Darr ke aage jeet hai!
Sleep well for at least 6 hours daily
Build self-confidence - talk to positive-minded people
Eliminate negativity in your surroundings, including people who spread negativity around you
Manage time effectively - make a study timetable and complete most of the difficult part of the work when you are most energetic
After you reach every milestone during your studies, give yourself a little treat and reward yourself.
Most importantly, talk it out. Share your insecurities or fears with someone you are closest to - be it your parents or siblings or even your friends or teachers. Lighten yourself from the burden by sharing your emotions.
I hope this helps you to focus better and eliminate those negative thoughts.
